We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Director of Domestic Violence Services to lead programs that empower survivors, strengthen communities, and advance trauma-informed care throughout the region. This is a full-time position within our Domestic Violence Services division. Candidates must reside in Connecticut to be eligible for this position. What You Will Do: As the Director of Domestic Violence Services, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for BHcare's domestic violence programs, including the Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services (UCDVS) and the HOPE Family Justice Center (HFJC). You will ensure services remain trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and aligned with regulatory, contractual, and best practice standards.  Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic and operational leadership for all domestic violence services, including the Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services and HOPE Family Justice Center, ensuring programs are trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and aligned with best practices. Oversee program operations across multiple service locations, driving quality, compliance, continuous improvement, and effective service delivery. Lead, coach, and develop staff while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, professional growth, and exceptional client services. Manage program budgets, grants, reporting, and funding opportunities to ensure financial sustainability and achievement of organizational goals. Build and maintain strong partnerships with community agencies, funders, stakeholders, and statewide domestic violence organizations while serving as a visible advocate for survivors. Support fundraising, community engagement, and organizational initiatives while ensuring accurate reporting, data integrity, and regulatory compliance. [ What You Will Bring:   Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred. Connecticut clinical licensure (LMSW, LCSW, or equivalent) is highly preferred. Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in human services, with domestic violence services experience strongly preferred.  Demonstrated experience leading teams, supervising staff, managing complex programs, and driving organizational outcomes. Strong knowledge of domestic violence dynamics, victim-centered services, community systems, and trauma-informed practices. Experience with budgeting, grant management, compliance, program development, and community partnerships.
