The radiologic technologist will work directly with the radiologist to perform a variety of diagnostic radiology procedures that require judgment, ingenuity and radiation protection practices, while responding to any of the patient’s special, physical, emotional, spiritual and/or age-specific related needs.  Â

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential (Responsibilities)
Clinical Excellence: Perform high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic exams safely and accurately according to established departmental protocols.
Patient-Centered Service: Provide excellent customer service, patient education, and radiation safety checks during all imaging procedures.
Digital Documentation: Maintain precise patient records across our Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS platforms.
Mentorship & Collaboration: Serve as a clinical supervisor and educator for imaging students rotating through our clinical settings.
Team Operations: Collaborate on workflow improvement projects, assist with patient transport, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain a clean, stocked imaging environment.

What You Bring (Qualifications)
- Education: Successful completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology Program.
- Experience: 1+ years of general radiologic technologist experience is preferred but not required.
- Licensure & Certifications:
- Active New York State (NYS) Radiologic Technologist License. Temporary Permit is accepted (must obtain registered licensure within 180 days of receiving your temporary)
- ARRT Registry Eligible
- Current BLS Certification (or obtained at time of hire)
