Role Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of warehouse renovation, fit-out, and development projects. The role ensures that new and existing facilities are delivered according to Toters’ operational, technical, safety, quality, budget, and timeline requirements.

The Project Manager works closely with the Real Estate Expansion, Operations, Maintenance, Finance, and external contractors to ensure successful project delivery from initial assessment through handover.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of warehouse renovation and fit-out projects from initiation to completion.
  • Review site conditions and translate operational requirements into practical project plans.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, engineers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and monitor project timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Review technical drawings, layouts, BOQs, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Ensure projects comply with approved designs, engineering standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor construction and fit-out progress through regular site visits and inspections.
  • Identify project risks, delays, technical issues, and cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate the preparation and implementation of warehouse floor plans in collaboration with Operations and relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage contractor performance and ensure quality of workmanship.
  • Review and validate project-related invoices, variations, and additional works.
  • Ensure proper project handover, including documentation, as-built drawings, warranties, and maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project records and provide regular progress updates to management.
  • Support the standardization of warehouse fit-out specifications and construction requirements across locations.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing renovation, construction, or fit-out projects.
  • Experience in retail, commercial, warehousing, or similar environments is preferred.
  • Strong project management and contractor management skills.
  • Good understanding of construction, MEP, and fit-out works.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and layouts.
  • Strong budgeting, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
