Position Overview

Join our production team as an LVP Flooring Installer, installing flooring in the tiny homes we build every day. This is a hands-on job for someone who works hard, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in doing quality work.

What You'll Do as an LVP Flooring Installer

  • Install luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring in our tiny homes using our established installation methods and quality standards.
  • Measure flooring areas and plan material placement for accurate installation while minimizing waste.
  • Cut LVP flooring to fit cleanly around walls, corners, doorways, and other obstacles.
  • Prepare each work area and identify issues that could affect the quality of the finished floor.
  • Fit and secure flooring to create a clean, professional finished product, inspecting your work and correcting issues as needed.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and flooring equipment safely and properly throughout the installation process.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and handle flooring materials carefully to prevent damage and unnecessary waste.
  • Coordinate with our carpenters, production team, and supervisors to keep each cabin moving efficiently through production.

Our Ideal LVP Flooring Installer

  • Dependable & Hardworking: Show up consistently, work hard, and can be counted on to complete quality work.
  • Efficient & Consistent: Work at a steady, productive pace while following our established processes and maintaining our standards for quality workmanship.
  • Hands-On: You have mechanical aptitude and are comfortable learning to use tools, measurements, and flooring installation techniques.
  • Teachable: Can follow instructions and established processes and are willing to learn LVP flooring installation through hands-on training; previous flooring or construction experience is helpful but not required.
  • Quality-Minded: You recognize problems, make basic adjustments, and take pride in producing a clean, professional finished product.
  • Physically Capable & Team-Focused: You can lift up to 75 pounds and spend your workday standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and working close to floor level while contributing to our Christian, family-oriented culture of teamwork and caring for others.
