Responsibilities:
- Run diagnostic tests on vehicles.
- Analyze diagnostic test results.
- Replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Check vehicle lighting systems.
- Test drive vehicles to gauge performance.
- Perform preventative maintenance on service trucks.
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.
- Adhere to an inspection procedure checklist.
- Maintain a parts inventory.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.
- Agile decision making on other equipment (Top Handler, Forklift, Yard Spotter, service van, etc.)
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components.
- Good IT and diagnostic skills / Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools / Attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills / Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good organizational skills.
