Roberts Markel Weinberg Butler Hailey PC (RMWBH) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of litigation experience to join our growing Insurance Defense practice in Frisco.

This position offers the opportunity to manage and support a dynamic caseload involving automobile liability, personal injury, premises liability, and other civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have experience handling cases through all phases of litigation and possess strong analytical, writing, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing case evaluations.
  • Taking and defending depositions.
  • Attending hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
  • Working closely with clients, experts, and witnesses.
  • Assisting with trial preparation and trial proceedings.
  • Maintaining case strategy and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities while delivering exceptional client service. Prior experience in insurance defense, automobile liability, personal injury litigation, or first-chair jury trial experience is strongly preferred.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Texas.
  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Excellent oral advocacy and communication abilities.
  • Ability to independently manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Texas as needed, including occasional overnight      travel and air travel.
  • Experience handling depositions, hearings, mediations, and motion practice preferred.
  • Insurance defense or personal injury litigation experience preferred.
