We are actively hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to be part of our Global Information Systems (GIS) team. GIS works with Lam's internal and external customers to enable business strategies through innovative solutions and services. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, product groups, technical teams, and leadership to support and enhance the MyLam Platform, a global customer-facing digital platform that provides access to technical documentation, knowledge content, software distribution, product information, communications, and account management capabilities.
This position requires a techno-functional professional who can combine business analysis, application support, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge management expertise to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
This role plays a critical part in enabling customer and business success through knowledge management, platform enablement, content delivery, application support, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted techno-functional partner across business and technology teams, helping drive innovation, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall user experience.
What you’ll do
Analyze complex business problems and apply systems-thinking principles to improve business processes, customer experience, and application capabilities.
• Act as the techno-functional subject matter expert, developing a deep understanding of system functionality, integrations, business processes, and user journeys.
• Serve as the primary Level 2 support resource, performing root-cause analysis, issue investigation, problem resolution, escalation management, and coordination across technical and business teams.
• Partner with Product Groups, Technical Publications, Engineering, Customer Support organizations, and leadership teams to improve knowledge management capabilities and technical content delivery processes.
• Support knowledge and content processes involving technical publications, product documentation, technical memos, service bulletins, software distribution, and customer knowledge repositories.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements and translate them into functional requirements and solution recommendations.
• Provide business insights, user feedback, operational trends, and enhancement recommendations to leadership, stakeholders, and development teams.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to define system functional needs, facilitate stakeholder discussions, negotiate priorities, and support Agile delivery practices.
Who we’re looking for
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 10-12 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, Application Analyst, or in a similar techno-functional role. Candidates with an advanced degree may qualify with fewer years of relevant experience, subject to company guidelines.
• Hands-on experience supporting Knowledge Management systems for Product Groups, Technical Publications, content management, documentation repositories, or knowledge delivery platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications through a combination of business analysis, application support, stakeholder engagement, requirements management, and solution delivery.
• Experience with Level 2 application support, incident investigation, root-cause analysis, escalation management, and production support.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working directly with software development teams, delivering solutions in Agile environments
• Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver application enhancements, process improvements, and technology solutions.
Preferred qualifications
• Passion for driving change and improving software delivery and support practices.
• Experience serving as a functional lead or subject matter expert for customer-facing applications within enterprise, B2B, or global customer platforms.
• Experience with Liferay or other content management and delivery platforms, and familiarity with identity and access management technologies such as SSO, MFA, Entra ID, or federation.
• Advanced certification in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or another scaling framework is a plus.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary
CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $114,000.00 -Â Â $253,000.00.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
