About the Role:Â Kaeser Compressors is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Fredericksburg. In this role, you will be a vital point of contact for employee inquiries and provide essential administrative support to the HR department. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, you will play a key role in our recruitment, onboarding, and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist with diverse recruitment sources, including internet job boards, universities, and local organizations. Schedule job fairs and meetings with tech schools and colleges. Conduct reference and background checks on final candidates, process E-Verify, and manage related invoices. Assist with new hire orientation, onboarding, and ADP/HRIS data entry.
HR Administration: Manage general administrative tasks and serve as a primary contact for employee questions. Coordinate random drug testing and branch new hire drug testing. Manage specialized job badges for technicians and provide front desk or recruiter backup as needed.
Compliance & Reporting: Prepare reports for HR analytics, Affirmative Action, and EEOC. Complete unemployment paperwork and ensure the ordering and compliance of Labor Law Posters.
Quality Standards: Learn and follow all applicable procedures and work instructions related to the Company’s quality and environmental systems. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: High School Diploma required; a college degree is preferred.
Experience: 2+ years of experience assisting in staffing, recruiting, or general HR functions.Â
Core Skills: Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to multitask and take on new projects. Excellent communication and phone skills are required.
Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace.
Work Environment: Regular physical attendance at the worksite is required.
This is a hourly position, with an annual range of $45,000-$55,000, to commensurate with experience.
