2nd Shift Supervisor

Purpose: Manage the day-to-day activities of the production team. Assist with training team members to maximize their potential. Empower team members with skills to improve confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills. Must be able to delegate tasks, resolve problems, and make sure that everything goes smoothly for everyone during a given shift. Ensure all department policies and procedures are followed.

Principle Duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working with shipping, production team and management about units on ā€œholdā€.
  • Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality
  • Identify training needs
  • Provide reports daily to management about production
  • Maintaining a tidy and organized workspace
  • Implement work practices, rules, and safety practices that ensure compliance with policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as directed.
  • Check technical accuracy of work.
  • Notify Supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required.

  • Ā Offer problem solving solutions. Assists in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of actions as required.

Ā 

  • Thorough understanding of all Company policies, including SQF, GMPs, safety policies, and HACCP.

Ā 

  • Effectively communicate with supervisor.
