The purpose of Next Gen Ministry is to equip and activate the next generation to love God with all their hearts, souls, minds, and strength and to love their neighbor as themselves by engaging every family and elevating community. The purpose of the Childcare Supervisor role is to oversee the childcare experience during scheduled childcare programming, ensuring children are safe, cared for, engaged, and experiencing a welcoming environment while their parents/guardians participate in ministry events. Primary Responsibilities: Event Coverage: Serve during scheduled childcare hours. Hours will vary depending on the campus ministry needs and regular childcare programming nights. Classroom Coordination: Organize and direct Saving Grace childcare employees to their designated rooms and ensure appropriate coverage. Lesson & Activities: Prepare and provide the curriculum, Bible story, crafts, games, and/or activities needed for classroom time. Snack Coordination: Coordinate and provide snacks as needed, including being mindful of allergies and dietary restrictions. Team Support: Serve as the primary support person for Saving Grace employees throughout the evening. Parent & Leader Support: Assist with questions, concerns, or situations involving parents, church leaders, childcare staff, and children, and help facilitate communication when needed. Behavior & Child Support: Provide guidance and support when children are struggling behaviorally or have additional needs and involve the appropriate Kids Ministry staff when necessary. Safety: Help ensure that Kids Ministry safety policies and procedures are followed throughout the programming event.
