Anticipated hourly range: $16.00 per hour - $24.06 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential)

The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.

Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferred
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently
  • Previous order picker / cherry picker experience, preferred
  • Material handling and RF scanner experience, preferred
  • Must be self-motivated and organized
  • Must have a high attention to detail and process
  • Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice

Responsibilities

  • Focusing on the receipt and balancing of inbound materials from PO to physical receipt
  • Ability to use multiple systems in efforts to research and resolve inventory discrepancies, proper handling in the receipt, billing, payment and debiting of materials
  • Identifying and handling any FCA impacted product in support of servicing customers
  • Willing to aid and support department in various assigned tasks
