Summary:

The Construction Financial Coordinator (“Coordinator”) supports the Planning, Design & Construction (PDC) Department by managing procurement, purchasing, and financial coordination activities associated with capital construction, renovation, infrastructure, medical equipment, furniture, and facility improvement projects. The Coordinator partners with Project Managers, Capital Finance, Supply Chain, Accounts Payable, vendors, contractors, and consultants to facilitate the timely processing of contracts, requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation. This role maintains procurement and financial records, supports project budget administration, monitors project commitments and expenditures, coordinates vendor onboarding, and ensures compliance with organizational purchasing policies and financial controls. As the department's procurement subject matter expert, the Coordinator contributes to the successful delivery of capital projects through effective process management, financial stewardship, and customer service.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in financial administration, purchasing, accounting support, project coordination, or related administrative functions.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in supporting capital construction projects, healthcare facilities, project finance, or large-scale procurement.

  • Demonstrated knowledge in purchase order management, contract administration, and invoice processing.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED
