Traveling Pipe Welder

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabricating pipes for various applications, including fire sprinkler fitting and pipeline construction. This role requires a strong understanding of industry codes and standards, as well as the ability to work with various materials and tools. The Pipe Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and safety of piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fabricate, and install piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
• Perform pipe threading, tube bending, and soldering tasks as required.
• Utilize power tools and welding equipment to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with relevant codes and standards throughout the welding process.
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Pipe Welder or similar role in the construction or manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with fire sprinkler fitting techniques is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience in maintaining equipment and tools used in welding processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
