Lead, coordinate, and inspire excellence in patient care while driving operational success within a dynamic healthcare team!The Nurse II (Team Lead) SWAT provides leadership in a fast-paced clinical environment where you will coordinate patient care, optimize operational efficiency, and support exceptional outcomes for patients and staff.
This role oversees and coordinates daily clinical and operational activities within the assigned area, collaborating closely with providers, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members. Responsibilities include managing and facilitating patient care workflows, coordinating procedures, ensuring appropriate staffing and resource allocation, and verifying that equipment, supplies, and personnel are readily available to meet patient care needs.
The successful candidate will lead day-to-day departmental operations, support quality and performance initiatives, and utilize advanced clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and nursing expertise to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Compensation:
Base Hourly Rate: $46.90
Geographical Differential: $9.04
Assignment Differential: $5.00
Total Hourly Rate: $60.94
The listed pay rate reflects the potential compensation for this position and includes applicable differentials. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and skills.

Qualifications:
Required Education and ExperienceLicense and Certification Requirement
1. License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York; and
2. Certification or eligibility for Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Education and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time nursing experience in an oncology support setting; or
2. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time nursing experience in an acute care support setting; or
3. Associate’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time nursing experience in an oncology support setting; or
4. Associate’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time nursing experience in an acute care support setting.
NOTE:
1. Incumbents must obtain and maintain applicable certification, as required by area of specialty, within eighteen (18) months of appointment to this position as a condition of continued employment in this title.
2. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within six (6) months of their appointment to this title.
3. Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
