Your role at Clorox:
The Clorox Company is seeking a qualified candidate for the Quality Assurance Technical Resource Lead position at our Atlanta Main facility. This facility uses automated packaging equipment and utilities to manufacture and distribute Home Care and Laundry products. The Quality Assurance Technical Resource Lead is responsible for maintaining and improving quality systems, processes, and compliance programs that support operational excellence across the facility. This role ensures quality processes are clearly defined, effectively communicated, and consistently executed to meet regulatory, customer, and company requirements.As a key quality leader, this position drives continuous improvement initiatives, supports compliance and training programs, manages quality notifications within SAP, and serves as a primary liaison with suppliers that directly support plant operations. The role works cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, maintenance, safety, and leadership teams to strengthen quality performance, document control, and organizational compliance.
Strong communication, collaboration, and change management skills are essential for successfully implementing strategic quality initiatives and policy updates throughout the organization.
Starting hourly pay: $42.52- Mon.- Fri. 8hr shift. Offering excellent compensation and benefits package.
In this role, you will:
Quality Systems & Compliance
Maintain and continuously improve quality management systems to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Develop, update, and communicate quality procedures, work instructions, standards, and documentation.
Ensure quality processes are clear, effective, and consistently followed throughout the facility.
Support internal and external audits and lead corrective and preventive action activities as needed.
Monitor compliance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance overall quality performance.
Continuous Improvement
Actively participate in and lead quality improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence.
Facilitate root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and risk reduction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, process capability, and compliance performance.
Training & Document Control
Coordinate and track required quality and compliance training programs to ensure timely completion.
Partner with stakeholders to maintain accurate and current training records.
Lead document control activities, ensuring revisions, approvals, distribution, and retention practices are effectively managed.
Serve as a resource to employees regarding quality procedures and compliance requirements.
SAP Quality Management
Create, maintain, and manage quality notifications and related documentation within SAP.
Ensure quality events, investigations, corrective actions, and records are accurately documented and closed in a timely manner.
Utilize SAP reporting and data analysis tools to support quality improvement efforts.
Communication & Leadership
Acts as a site contact with Division Quality and Corporate Quality regarding quality systems, standards, and variances to manufacturing process Lead problem analysis/ diagnosis to processing operations and Various WCM Pillar Teams i.e. T&Q, Daily Operations, Improvement Methods.
Promote continuous improvement, compliance, and quality ownership throughout the facility.
What we look for:
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, Manufacturing, or a related technical environment.
Experience managing quality systems, compliance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience working with SAP, including quality notifications and documentation management.
Knowledge of document control processes and quality management principles.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
Ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively across multiple functions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing, consumer products, food, chemical, or regulated environment.
Certification in Quality Management or Continuous Improvement (ASQ, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
Experience supporting audits, supplier quality programs, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Advanced knowledge of quality management systems and process improvement methodologies.
