Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Lead Inventory Coordinator in USA Fontana, Ca.

Report to the Production Manager, Lead Inventory Coordinator, is responsible for overseeing the inventory process and leading a team of employees in completing assigned tasks within the manufacturing plant.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Oversees the work of assigned team employees.
  • Assists with training new department personnel.
  • Assists team members with technical issues or problems with given assignments.
  • Request SKU creation, SKU updates, SKU edits, and SKU deactivation/reactivation for items within the ERP System.
  • Run reports in the ERP System to identify and resolve open and past due orders and pick lists.
  • Identify any material issues to minimize any disruptions in getting stock transfer orders complete .
  • Handle all damaged material and items; turn information over to receiving department for RMA process.
  • Oversee KPI’s for the department.
  • Complete audits for department on various transactions including Stock Transfer Orders (STO), Cycle Counts, and Pick Lists.
  • Make suggestions for improvement to inventory processes; update work instructions as needed
  • Accurately pull and stage material for manufacturing jobs according to bill of materials and work orders, as needed.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and verify quantities to maintain proper stock levels; document and adjust discrepancies within ERP system, as needed.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of experience in inventory, shipping and receiving, logistics, or related field.
  • Prior experience in effectively leading a team of employees preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them, when appropriate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented skills.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Familiar with cycle counting, picking and posting, and working with an MRP/ERP system.
  • Ability to operate powered equipment including forklifts and scissor lifts

What the physical requirements are:

  • Periods of standing, walking, and sitting at a desk using a computer
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 35 pounds at a time.
  • Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor
