Facilities360 is proud to be the new provider of janitorial services for Genesee County. We are currently seeking dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team and help maintain clean, safe, and professional government facilities throughout Genesee County.

Positions Available:

Day Porters
Daytime and afternoon opportunities are available at various Genesee County facilities, including the Administration Building, McCree Courts & Human Services Building, Genesee County Courthouse, Genesee County Jail, and Juvenile Justice locations.

Evening Custodians
Full-time and part-time positions are available. Typical evening shifts begin at approximately 5:00 PM. Team members may be assigned to county offices, courts, justice facilities, and satellite locations.

Working Lead Custodians
Evening-shift leadership opportunities are available. Working Leads are responsible for their assigned cleaning areas while also assisting with team oversight, inspections, and ensuring nightly work is completed according to Facilities360 standards.

Floor Care Technicians
Evening and night-shift opportunities are available. Previous experience with carpet extraction, floor scrubbing, stripping and waxing, burnishing, and other professional floor-care equipment is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include restroom cleaning and sanitizing, trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting high-touch surfaces, office and courtroom cleaning, interior glass cleaning, floor care, restocking supplies, and other routine custodial duties.

Qualifications

Applicants should be reliable and punctual, able to work independently and as part of a team, maintain a professional appearance and attitude, and follow all security and building-access procedures.

Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required for all positions.

Candidates must be able to perform the physical duties of the position and successfully complete all required pre-employment and site-access requirements.

Must be able to pass a background check.
