As the Information Technology Intern you will be assigned to a technology-focused business area, which may include Project Management, Data & Integrations, Infrastructure Services, Application Development, Technology Operations, or another IT function. You will work alongside technology professionals to support projects, initiatives, and operational activities while developing technical, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Specific training, projects, systems, and learning objectives will be defined through a department-specific onboarding plan. What You Will Do: Learn the responsibilities, workflows, systems, and business purpose of the assigned IT team through structured training, observation, and hands-on assignments. Assist with technology projects, process improvements, system implementations, operational initiatives, and department objectives. Gather, organize, validate, analyze, and communicate information to support decision-making and project execution. Participate in testing, monitoring, documentation, reporting, and analysis activities related to technology processes, systems, and services. Assist with maintaining and updating procedures, documentation, workflows, and knowledge resources. Research and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, user experience, data quality, or operational effectiveness. Collaborate with technology team members and business partners on assigned initiatives and projects. Prepare reports, presentations, dashboards, process documentation, or other work products as assigned. Maintain secure, accurate, and confidential information while following Bank policies, procedures, and technology standards. Perform other duties and complete additional learning assignments as requested. What We’re Looking For: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Business Technology, Project Management, or a related field. Demonstrated interest in technology, data, infrastructure, software development, systems administration, project management, or digital transformation. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently as well as collaboratively. Strong attention to detail and desire to learn new technologies and business processes. Professional demeanor and effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to meet scheduling expectations established for the internship program. Working Conditions/Demands: Professional office setting. Primarily sedentary position requiring extended periods working at a computer. Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information. Depending on the assignment, may occasionally assist with technology equipment setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, or deployment activities. May occasionally move technology equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. Must be able to perform the essential functions of the assigned position with or without reasonable accommodation. Who Are We?
