Role and Responsibilities
• Empties all trash cans and replaces with clean liners. Wipes down outside of trash receptacle.
• Cleans all entrance glass doors and side panels adjacent to glass doors.
• Vacuums all carpets including under desks and traffic mats. Sweeps, mops and sanitizes hard surface floors, removing scuff marks. Cleans all exposed carpet edges and baseboards.
• Straightens conference room chairs and any items in the room.
• Details/ dusts/ wipes down computers, desks, furniture, phones, countertops, conference room tables, countertops, office equipment, file cabinets and chairs.
• Dust low and high corner areas (spider webs). Dust office décor, blinds, and window sills.
• Check and clean light fixtures.
• Dust vents, grills, diffusers and high ledges.
• Cleans exposed areas of interior glass.
• Removes scuff marks from walls and dusts ceiling tiles.
• Thoroughly sanitize sinks, commodes, urinals, countertops, partitions, grab bars and walls by dispensers.
• Clean mirrors, dry- shine.
• Refill and sanitize dispensers: hand towels, toilet paper and soap. Straighten bathroom contents.
• Accurately completes housekeeping cleaning log on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as designated on the log in a timely manner.Â
• Receives information from Assistant Plant Manager about: cleaning needs, customer visits as well as safety and environmental guidelines. Â
• Informs the Assistant Plant Manager about equipment problems, inventory,  and safety concerns.Â
• Any other duties that the Company in its sole discretion may assign as needed.
Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School diploma or GED, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a busy safety oriented work environment. Works well in a team setting, reliable, trustworthy and maintains interpersonal, written and verbal communication abilities in English.Â
Preferred Skills or Education
Previous experience as a housekeeper in an office and/or industrial setting.
Physical and Mental Requirements of the Position

• Position requires constant written and oral communication, mental alertness, agility, manual dexterity, reasoning ability, Visual acuity (color, depth perception and field of vision), seeing, hearing and talking.
• Position requires frequent lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, utilizing stairs or ladders, , climbing, squatting, stooping, twisting, bending, grabbing and grasping.Â
• Position requires occasional lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 75 pounds, overhead lifting up to 30 pounds, twisting, squatting, crawling, kneeling, reaching above the shoulder, typing/keyboarding, fine manipulation and sitting.Â
• May be required to work in hot or cold ambient conditions with long hours standing or walking on a concrete floor.Â
