The Mill Street Residence Director will direct the day-to-day function of the facility in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing assisted living facilities while ensuring the highest degree of quality in the care and services provided to tenants at all times. Duties include but are not limited to: Service Excellence Communicate effectively with tenants, families, customers, and team members while remaining calm, professional, and customer-focused. Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance by safeguarding sensitive information and using systems appropriately. Marketing Develop and implement marketing and community outreach efforts to support occupancy and referrals. Maintain positive public relations and awareness of industry trends and local competition. Coordinate tenant move-in processes and apartment modification requests. Prepare and process contracts and related documentation accurately and timely. Represent the organization ethically and professionally in all marketing and customer interactions. Other Duties Perform additional job-related duties, assignments, and responsibilities as directed by leadership to support organizational operations and resident needs. Compensation The pay range for this role is between $75,004.80-$109,990.40 annually. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations. QualificationsRequirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skill, and/or ability. Education and Knowledge: Bachelor’s degree with knowledge of regulations associated with assisted living and long-term care facilities. Should possess good intervention techniques, effective communication skills with groups and individuals, written skills, problem solving and decision-making capabilities, healthcare financial acumen, and the ability to supervise and solicit cooperation. Previous supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care or assisted living facility is helpful. Physical Demands: The position requires excellent interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with and counsel tenants, families and staff. Must possess the ability to talk and exchange concepts by means of the spoken word; to hear and receive fine discrimination in sound, visual acuity required to effectively work with clients and move about work areas. Written communication is required. Clerical skills helpful for fiscal and managerial functions. Must exhibit patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards the elderly. Physical Requirements: Position requires mobility, as he/she must go to tenants and/or families in multiple settings, on some occasions, rapidly. This position involves sedentary-type work that is exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. The incumbent will sit for 4 hours, walk for 2 hours and stand for 2 hours during an average 8-hour day. Mental Demands: Need to be able to work in close contact with multiple types of personalities. Must be able to handle multiple priorities in a calm, productive manner. Must be able to attend the work site per schedule.
