  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Report vehicle issues, delays, safety concerns, and project impacts promptly
  • Keep trucks clean, fueled, and ready for operation
  • Work with the asphalt and concrete crew when driving duties are not active, including:

  • Understand the importance of supporting the entire crew's success
  • Put safety ahead of production deadlines
  • Take care of company vehicles and equipment
  • Communicate openly and honestly
  • Report problems, delays, and safety concerns immediately
  • Accept coaching and work well in a team environment
  • Show initiative and a desire to learn and grow

  • Previous commercial driving experience
  • Ability and willingness to perform both driving and labor responsibilities
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Comfortable working around traffic, heavy equipment, hot asphalt, and active construction environments
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
