Job DetailsJob Location: Fargo, ND 58102Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: CommissioningThe Project Scheduler is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of daily commissioning schedules, execution plans, KPI dashboards, and supporting reports. Operating within an evening-driven coordination model, this individual translates decisions made by commissioning leadership into structured schedules and clear reporting materials. This position serves as a central system-of-record resource, ensuring that the plan agreed upon during evening coordination is accurately documented, distributed, and reported the following morning. The role focuses more on data orchestration, schedule integrity, and documentation than on independently directing work or making sequencing decisions.  Key Responsibilities Finalize and distribute daily commissioning status reports based on decisions made during the previous evening’s coordination meeting. Support morning commissioning meetings by presenting system readiness, prior-day planned-versus-actual performance, and the coordinated execution plan for the current day. Maintain alignment across the commissioning micro-schedule, KPI dashboards, lookahead schedules, trackers, and status reports. Identify and document deviations such as slipped tests, incomplete PFCs, carryover work, and access or safety constraints. Reconcile field progress against the previously agreed execution plan. Update test completion trackers, system readiness matrices, turnover trackers, TOP trackers, issue summaries, and constraint registers. Generate and refresh KPI metrics, including systems ready versus planned, test execution rates, backlog, and carryover work. Collect scheduling and progress updates from GC discipline commissioning leads and trade partners through the appropriate leads. Perform data quality reviews to ensure information is clean, current, time-aligned, and consistent across all reporting tools. Prepare micro lookahead schedule updates covering the upcoming zero-to-two-week window. Develop pre-read and coordination packages containing updated schedules, KPI snapshots, variance reports, known constraints, and carryover items. Distribute coordination materials to the Commissioning Manager, GC discipline commissioning leads, and other key stakeholders. Attend daily evening commissioning coordination meetings and capture decisions, changes, commitments, responsibilities, and constraint-mitigation actions in real time. Update activity dates, sequencing, and next-day execution plans as directed by commissioning leadership. Document agreed test schedules by hour and zone, assigned responsibilities, meeting minutes, and the finalized next-day plan. Publish the locked plan of record and archive previous versions to preserve traceability and version control. Ensure published reports and schedules reflect exactly what was agreed during coordination, without independently changing priorities or resequencing work.                                                                                                                                                          Qualifications 3+ years of experience in commissioning, construction scheduling, project controls, or related project support roles. Strong understanding of commissioning processes, turnover requirements, testing activities, and system readiness planning. Ability to analyze schedule performance, reconcile field progress, and generate KPI-driven reports. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools. Strong organizational, documentation, and meeting coordination skills.
