At Qualitrol in Fairport, NY, the Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe production while meeting quality standards and production targetsÂ
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Production Activities: Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality specificationsÂ
- Team Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate production workers; foster a positive, productive work environmentÂ
- Quality Control: Monitor processes to meet quality standards; implement corrective actions when neededÂ
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct inspections, and provide safety trainingÂ
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency gains, reduce waste, and lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen events)
- Inventory Management: Track raw materials and finished goods; coordinate with procurement for timely material availabilityÂ
- Reporting: Maintain production data records; prepare and submit reports to the Plant ManagerÂ
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve production issues promptly to minimize disruptionsÂ
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between management and production staff, ensuring clear communication of goals, changes, and updatesÂ
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferredÂ
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency with manufacturing software/toolsÂ
- Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulationsÂ

Pay Range
The salary range for this position in local currency is $73,100- 115,000.
