Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for an Infrastructure Project Manager P&G to join our ISD team in Marietta, GA.  This role will partner closely with infrastructure engineering, cybersecurity, operations, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver solutions that improve reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

Successful candidates possess strong stakeholder management skills, experience leading complex infrastructure projects, and the ability to drive accountability across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and relentless in removing obstacles, managing risks, and ensuring project commitments are achieved.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise infrastructure initiatives from project initiation through operational handoff and project closure.
  • Partner with infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations, architecture, and business stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, requirements, success metrics, and implementation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk registers, and communication plans.
  • Coordinate activities across infrastructure teams, business stakeholders, third-party vendors, managed service providers, and implementation partners.
  • Facilitate project meetings, technical workshops, readiness reviews, implementation planning sessions, and stakeholder updates.
  • Drive issue resolution and proactive risk management across all phases of project delivery.
  • Manage project communications and provide executive-level status reporting on scope, timeline, budget, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Lead infrastructure implementation planning, migration activities, cutover coordination, rollback planning, and transition-to-support activities.
  • Ensure operational readiness and successful handoff to support and operations teams following implementation.
  • Promote adherence to PMO standards, governance processes, change management controls, and project delivery best practices.

What you need to be successful: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 10+ years equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of project management experience leading enterprise infrastructure and technology initiatives.
  • Experience managing projects involving cloud platforms, data centers, networking, cybersecurity, end-user computing, server infrastructure, or infrastructure modernization programs.
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex projects involving multiple technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, resource planning, dependencies, and vendor relationships.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into meaningful business-focused communications and executive reporting.
  • Experience leading implementation planning, infrastructure deployments, migration activities, and operational transition efforts.
  • Proven ability to proactively drive action, remove roadblocks, and maintain accountability across project teams.
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, ITIL, or related certifications.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated success in providing project management leadership, oversight, and guidance to meet corporate policies, practices, and standards.
  • The ability to concurrently manage multiple, complex projects and prioritize workloads while working independently within a cross-functional team.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft 365, Active Directory / Entra ID, ServiceNow, Network and security technologies, and data center and infrastructure operations.
  • Experience leading cloud migration programs, infrastructure modernization initiatives, data center consolidations or relocations, network transformation, cyber security and compliance initiatives.
  • Experience within manufacturing, automotive, distribution, or supply chain environments.
  • Expertise developing actionable plans to achieve strategic goals.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Expertise identifying areas of significant concern or opportunity and initiating research to identify critical problems.
  • Excellent partnering and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated organization and team building skills.
  • Exceptional communication, both written & verbal; that includes very good listening skills and an open attitude and acceptance to coaching and being coached.
  • Ability to evangelize and educate on process, strategy, and investments to achieve the enterprise business and application strategy.
