Advanced Practice Nurse Interventional Radiology

POSITION SUMMARY:

Little Company of Mary Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and clinically skilled Interventional Radiology APP to join its advanced imaging and procedural team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment supporting a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.

The APP will partner closely with interventional radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

JOB SPECIFICS

• Conduct detailed patient evaluations including history, physical exams, and risk assessments
• Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care and patient education
• Assist in and perform image-guided procedures including:
• Central line placements
• Paracentesis and thoracentesis
• Biopsies and drain placements
• Vascular access procedures
• General Biopsies
• Lumbar puncture
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage complications when necessary
• Interpret lab results and imaging findings in collaboration with radiologists
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans
• Document care thoroughly in the EMR
• Communicate effectively with referring providers, nursing staff, and specialists

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position:  $55.20 - $63.65/hour.
  • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

POSITION SUMMARY: According to professional standards of care, performs a variety of advanced nursing / physician assistant functions. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
