Job Title: Treasury Management Business Development Officer 

FLSA Status: Exempt

Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm                  

 

General Job Summary:

As a Treasury Management Business Development Officer, your date will be filled with opportunities to identify and create treasury management solutions, companies, associations, organizations and municipalities that result in depository relationships. Additional responsibilities include mining and servicing personal deposit portfolio while identifying cross-sell opportunities with other areas of the bank.    

Organizational Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports the mission, vision and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Originate new treasury management relationships for Bank through networking and mining efforts
  • Cross-sell Treasury Management Products for own portfolio of customers as well as partner with Commercial Banking, Private Banking and Business Banking to assist with Depository and Treasury sales efforts
  • Develop proposals in response to RFPs
  • As the primary account officer, maintain and service a significant depository portfolio
  • Implement routine calling/servicing standards for depository portfolio
  • Responsible for overseeing special projects as needed
  • Provide operational support for all Treasury Management Products
  • Responsible for working with the Treasury Implementation and Service Team to insure a smooth transition for new customers. Review customer accounts to ensure proper account type
  • Handle inquiries and resolve issues

 

Other Functions: 

  • Assist Branches in calling efforts
  • Attend department meetings with other lines of business and branches to educate them on Treasury Management Products

 

Working Conditions:  The Business Development Officer will spend a large amount of their time outside of the bank calling on mining their own prospective relationships as well as assisting Lenders on sales calls

 

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education: BS/BA in business/finance

Experience:

  • 3 years sales experience
  • 3 – 5 years of sales experience in the banking industry

Specific Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance

 

Specialized: CCM or CTP preferred
