Position SummaryÂ
The Data Analyst is responsible for acquiring, processing, analyzing, and visualizing manufacturing data to support operational excellence, productivity improvements, and strategic decision-making. This role serves as the primary resource for transforming complex production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain data into meaningful dashboards, reports, and actionable insights.Â
The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams to design and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, MDS (Manufacturing Data System), Excel, SQL, and other analytics tools. This position plays a critical role in supporting highly automated manufacturing operations through data-driven decision making.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Data Acquisition & IntegrationÂ
- Collect, validate, and consolidate data from manufacturing systems including:Â Â
- MDS (Manufacturing Data System)Â
- MES platformsÂ
- SCADA and PLC systemsÂ
- ERP systemsÂ
- Quality management systemsÂ
- Maintenance management systems (CMMS)Â
- Data warehouses and cloud platformsÂ
- Develop automated data extraction and transformation processes to improve reporting efficiency.Â
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across multiple systems.Â
Business Intelligence & ReportingÂ
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using:Â Â
- Power BIÂ
- TableauÂ
- ExcelÂ
- Reporting ServicesÂ
- Build automated reporting solutions that provide visibility into:Â Â
- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)Â
- Production performanceÂ
- Downtime analysisÂ
- Yield and scrap performanceÂ
- Quality metricsÂ
- Labor efficiencyÂ
- Maintenance KPIsÂ
- Inventory and supply chain metricsÂ
- Create executive-level reports that support strategic decision making.Â
Manufacturing AnalyticsÂ
- Analyze production trends and identify opportunities for process improvement.Â
- Perform root cause analysis using production and operational data.Â
- Develop statistical models and KPI scorecards to measure business performance.Â
- Support Continuous Improvement initiatives through data analysis and visualization.Â
- Identify emerging trends, performance gaps, and areas requiring corrective action.Â
Business PartnershipÂ
- Work directly with plant leadership to define reporting requirements.Â
- Translate business needs into technical reporting solutions.Â
- Train end users on dashboard functionality and data interpretation.Â
- Serve as a subject matter expert for manufacturing analytics and reporting tools.Â
Total Rewards:
- Salary Range: $62,500 -Â $75,000
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Data Analytics, computer science, statiscs, business analytics or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or manufacturing analytics.Â
- Experience working within a manufacturing, industrial, or automated production environment.Â
- Experience building enterprise-level reports and dashboards.Â
