Orthodontic Clinical Support Assistant -- Entry Level

Lalor Family Dental is a growing, multi-office dental practice in the Greater Binghamton Area with more than 60 years of experience in the dental field. We are seeking a Part-Time Orthodontic Clinical Support Assistant to join our Dinosaur Orthodontics team!

This is an entry-level position and a great opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in the dental field. No previous dental experience is required — we are willing to train the right person!

In this role, you will help keep our clinical team running smoothly by supporting sterilization, room turnover, stocking, and general clinical needs. You will also be trained to provide back-up support with patient X-rays, photographs, and digital scans as needed.

You'll work directly alongside our orthodontic clinical team, gaining valuable experience and exposure to patient care with opportunities to learn, grow, and advance within our organization.

Must be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

What You'll Do:

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments
• Clean, prepare, and turn over treatment rooms between patients
• Stock treatment rooms and maintain clinical supplies
• Help keep sterilization and clinical areas clean and organized
• Provide additional clinical support during busy patient schedules
• Learn to assist with patient X-rays, clinical photographs, and digital scans
• Serve as back-up for these clinical records duties when additional coverage is needed
• Follow established infection control and patient safety procedures
• Work closely with the orthodontic clinical team to keep patient flow running smoothly

No Dental Experience? No Problem!

This position is designed to provide hands-on training and exposure to the dental field. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, willing to jump in wherever needed, and interested in developing new skills.

Hourly Rate: $16.00 – $16.50
