Texas Pride Fuels is an experienced, full-service, diesel and lubricant supplier to the oil and gas industry. We specialize in on-site, 24-hour automated frac fueling service all over Texas, southeast New Mexico, and Oklahoma. This role requires being open to working in any of the areas of operation, parts of west Texas and southeast New Mexico and central Oklahoma, and being open to working 3 week on/1 week off rotations. 


Overview - 

  • Expected annual income of $95k-$105k
  • Benefits: Paid training, PTO in first year, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401k with company match
  • Schedule: 23 days on/7 days off, 70 hours/week
  • Work: Transport and deliver hazardous materials (diesel) in a full-size tanker trailer to customers in any of our operational areas, applying skills and experience in commercial driving and knowledge of hazmat safety and DOT regulations. 


Responsibilities

  • Safely transport and deliver diesel fuel via class A tanker-trailer combinations from terminals to customers in ANY of our areas of operation, parts of west Texas and southeast New Mexico and central Oklahoma
  • Perform thorough pre and post trip inspections + adhere to all DOT, Hazmat, and Texas Pride Fuels safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate ELD logs and customer delivery documentation
  • Communicate with logistics partners to ensure customer needs are met


Required Qualifications

  • Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements (X)
  • Operation of manual transmission (No E Restriction)
  • Minimum of 2 years Class A truck driving experience
  • Minimum of 2 years Tanker/Fluid truck driving experience.
  • Must be registered on the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse prior to start
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation Compliance.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Compliance.
  • Ability to proficiently speak, write, and read the English language.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam.
  • Must have knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations governing safe driving, “Hours of Service”, inspection and maintenance basics.
  • Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION.
  • Must satisfactorily pass a drug test, alcohol test, and background check.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the work and the industry. 
  • Must be insurable with the company.
  • High school diploma or GED required. 

Compensation and Benefits

  • $27/hour to start + $.50/hour increase once carded at the appropriate fuel terminal + time-on-job raises ($.25/hour increase at 3 months, $.50/hour increase at 6 months, $.25/hour increase at 9 months, $.50/hour increase at 12 months) 
  • Time and a half pay for hours over 40 in a work week
  • $300 sign-on bonus
  • $69/day per diem
  • Paid travel time to and from hitch, 5-7 hours paid at your hourly rate, depending on location
  • Lodging is provided

Schedule and Location
