Summary 
 

The Commercial Credit Analyst I is an entry-level position responsible for assisting the commercial lending team with the credit underwriting process. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to gain experience in commercial lending and build a strong foundation in credit analysis.


Essential Functions

  • Gather and organize financial data and loan application documents.
  • Assist with financial statement analysis and spreads.
  • Prepare basic credit presentations and renewals.
  • Conduct preliminary research on borrowers and market conditions.
  • Update and maintain loan documentation and credit files within nCino.
  • Price basic loan ROEs using internal bank pricing model.
  • Support senior analysts with various administrative tasks.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.


Required Education, Experience, Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics (preferred), or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to be able to challenge themselves in order to obtain new knowledge, ideas, and skills.
  • Requires valid driver’s license; ability to travel/drive to client meetings.
