Description

Provides administrative support to the Human Resources department.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Verify new hire information and process to Viewpoint
  • Manually updated Viewpoint with employee information not automatically transferred from onboarding system
  • Ensure all required documentation is added to employee file
  • Process all new hires in OESC New Hire system
  • Process required DOT employment verification post-orientation
  • Maintain drug testing records in viewpoint (in-office and McBride)
  • Process all DOT and Non-DOT Employment 
  • Track safety training as received for each employee, including new hire training and job-site orientation verification 
  • Process weekly reports:
    • 401k deferrals and loans
    • DOT Expirations
  • Enter all new hires into Fidelity
  • Monitor DOT Random Drug Testing
  • Enter direct deposit and pay card information
  • Mail monthly benefit enrollment packets
  • Update employee files with personal information changes as needed
  • Answer HR line calls
  • Act as back-up for all company phone lines
  • Act as back up for assisting walk-in applicants and collecting recruiting paperwork
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, quickly changing environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous staffing industry experience
  • HR Degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a HR Department
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
