The role:

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will help drive our goals by:
  • Leading maintenance teams to safely maintain plant equipment, facilities and utilities while ensuring compliance with JM safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Coordinating maintenance activities with internal stakeholders to meet operational priorities and deliver a high level of customer service.
  • Assigning work, providing technical guidance and supporting effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis of equipment issues.
  • Supporting preventive maintenance programs, repairs, shutdown planning and project execution to maximize equipment reliability.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives that reduce downtime, improve maintenance practices and enhance workplace standards.
  • Promoting engagement, communication and adherence to union agreements to maintain a fair and collaborative working environment.
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with maintenance experience, or equivalent maintenance and supervisory experience.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Practical mechanical and/or electrical maintenance knowledge.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, coach and support maintenance personnel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with SAP, maintenance management systems and unionized workforces is advantageous.
