Position Summary


Park Schools Montessori is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote CACFP Administrative Assistant to manage all Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) administrative paperwork and compliance. This position works primarily from home but is required to visit the center on scheduled days to pick up, organize, and return documentation, as well as assist with audits and compliance reviews.

The ideal candidate is dependable, confidential, and experienced with paperwork, data entry, and government program documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•⁠  ⁠Collect CACFP paperwork from the school on a scheduled basis (1–3 times per week or as needed).
•⁠  ⁠Review meal count forms for accuracy and completeness.
•⁠  ⁠Verify enrollment forms and income eligibility applications.
•⁠  ⁠Maintain participant records and organize electronic and paper files.
•⁠  ⁠Enter CACFP data into the required software or spreadsheets.
•⁠  ⁠Prepare monthly reimbursement packets for submission.
•⁠  ⁠Follow up with staff regarding missing or incorrect documentation.
•⁠  ⁠Maintain organized records for state reviews and audits.
•⁠  ⁠Ensure compliance with USDA and Bright from the Start CACFP regulations.
•⁠  ⁠Prepare reports for administration.
•⁠  ⁠Assist with annual renewals and monitoring documentation.
•⁠  ⁠Communicate professionally with center staff regarding required paperwork.
•⁠  ⁠Maintain confidentiality of all student and family information.
