Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team and play an important role in supporting our doctors, technicians, patients, and clients.

This position is ideal for someone who already has experience working in a veterinary hospital and enjoys being hands-on with patients. You'll have the opportunity to use your existing skills while continuing to expand your knowledge in a collaborative clinical environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist veterinarians and technicians with appointments, treatments, and procedures
• Safely restrain and handle patients
• Prepare exam, treatment, and surgical areas
• Assist with blood draws, laboratory testing, IV catheter placement, and diagnostics
• Support surgical preparation, anesthesia, dentistry, and patient recovery
• Administer medications and vaccines under veterinary supervision
• Monitor hospitalized patients and provide compassionate patient care
• Communicate with clients regarding basic care and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate medical records and keep the hospital clean and organized
• Work as part of a team to keep daily hospital operations running efficiently

What We're Looking For

• 1–2+ years of veterinary assistant or veterinary hospital experience preferred
• Comfortable handling and restraining dogs and cats
• Previous experience with blood draws, laboratory work, treatments, or surgery is a plus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented
• Able to multitask while maintaining attention to patient safety and quality of care
• Eager to learn and grow your veterinary skills
• Willingness to participate in a rotating Saturday schedule
• Experience with anesthesia, dentistry, radiology, or surgical procedures is a plus
