This role involves using various tools, techniques, icing, fondant, and other elements to design and decorate cakes. The decorator will also interact with customers, manage inventory, ensure cleanliness and organization, and collaborate with the team. Staying updated on trends and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards are also key aspects of this position. Key Responsibilities: - Design and decorate cakes using a variety of tools, techniques, icing, fondant, and other elements. - Interact with customers to understand their needs and preferences. - Maintain high-quality standards in cake decoration. - Manage inventory, including supplies and ingredients, to ensure availability and freshness. - Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workspace. - Collaborate with the team to achieve common goals and improve processes. - Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in cake decoration. - Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the kitchen.
