We’re hiring experienced CNC Machinists for our precision aerospace and defense manufacturing facility in East Aurora, NY.
You’ll manufacture complex, high-precision components on CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis equipment, including Mazak Integrex machines. We have opportunities across both milling and turning, with a significant portion of our current hiring focused on CNC milling.
This is an experienced-level machining opportunity for someone who can independently contribute in a precision manufacturing environment. We’re looking for machinists with strong setup, tooling, blueprint reading, and troubleshooting capabilities who are comfortable producing tight-tolerance components with limited supervision.

Compensation
- $32–$37/hr typical range for experienced machinists
- +$2/hr 2nd-shift differential
- Approximately 45–50+ hours per week
- Overtime paid after 40 hours
- Relocation assistance may be available for highly qualified candidates
Shift
- 1st and 2nd shift available
- Monday – Friday
- Majority of current openings are on 2nd shift
- Overtime and occasional Saturday opportunities based on production demand
Responsibilities
- CNC Machining:Â Operate CNC mills and/or lathes to manufacture complex aerospace and defense components.
- Machine Setups:Â Independently perform machine setups, changeovers, and job preparation.
- Tooling:Â Select, load, change, and troubleshoot cutting tools based on machining requirements.
- Machine Adjustments:Â Make offsets and process adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and part quality.
- Quality Inspection:Â Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to verify components meet specifications.
- Precision Measurement:Â Inspect close-tolerance components using precision measuring equipment.
- Blueprint Reading:Â Interpret complex engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing requirements.
- Troubleshooting:Â Identify and resolve machining, tooling, setup, and dimensional issues.
- Production:Â Maintain quality and productivity while supporting demanding aerospace and defense production schedules.
Required
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience
- CNC milling and/or turning experience
- Independent CNC machine setup experience
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Cutting tool and tooling knowledge
- Experience making offsets and machining adjustments
- Ability to maintain tight tolerances
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Stable employment history
Preferred
- Aerospace or defense machining experience
- CNC milling experience
- Mazak and/or Mazak Integrex experience
- Multi-axis machining experience
- G-code or CNC programming knowledge
- Strong GD&T knowledge
- Experience machining complex, close-tolerance components
- Previous experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment
