Job DetailsJob Location: Durango Coca-Cola - Durango, CO 81303Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 Salary/yearTravel Percentage: NoneProduct Strategy and Commercialization Manager Job Family: Sales FLSA Status: Exempt   Overview: This role is responsible for forecasting, purchasing, and maintaining supply of existing and new products, ensuring inventory levels support operational needs, promotions, and product launches. Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, the position manages demand planning, inventory targets, product specifications, and purchasing activities. The role also leads commercialization efforts for new products and marketing initiatives by developing go-to-market plans, supporting trade marketing programs, and ensuring compliance with national display standards. Through cross-functional collaboration, this position supports the full product lifecycle from planning through in-market execution, helping drive availability, shelf presence, brand performance, and annual business planning.  Teamwork: Durango Coca-Cola Bottling Company thrives in a dynamic, ever-changing environment that requires flexibility and a team-based attitude. Major Responsibilities: Manage demand planning, forecasting, and procurement for resale products and assigned supplies. Develop and execute commercialization strategies for innovation launches, including forecasting and product introduction planning. Maintain inventory levels to ensure appropriate days' supply, freshness, and product rotation standards across beverages, syrups, foodservice items, and other assigned materials. Optimize purchasing decisions by evaluating supplier performance, cost efficiency, and order quantities, including pallet and layer configurations. Coordinate inventory and purchasing activities with Sales and Full-Service teams to align with business forecasts and customer demand. Monitor customer advertising and promotional activity to anticipate inventory requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and distribution partners while managing supplier performance and issue resolution. Serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure effective communication and supply chain execution. Partner with the Sales team to manage the full product lifecycle, from launch through discontinuation. Perform other duties as assigned.   QualificationsExperience & Qualifications: High school diploma/GED required, bachelor’s degree in business, procurement, supply chain or related field preferred. Two years of experience with product procurement, product forecasting, warehouse inventory and reconciliation, and shipping and receiving preferred. Must be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Strong math and organizational skills required. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and the sales team members. Additional: This position may occasionally be active and require standing, walking, pushing, and pulling. While performing the duties of this job.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work hours: Standard business hours 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Additional or alternative days/times may be occasionally needed, depending on customer and/or promotional campaign.
