Phelps Uniform Specialists is a family-owned and operated company seeking a dependable, customer-focused Route Service Representative (RSR) to join our team. This is more than a delivery job. You'll build relationships, solve problems, and become a trusted partner to the local businesses you serve each day. In this role, you'll manage an established customer route, delivering uniforms, facility service products, and other rental items while providing exceptional service and helping our customers succeed. What You'll Do Service established customer accounts on a scheduled route. Deliver clean uniforms, mats, and facility service products while picking up soiled items. Build strong customer relationships and provide outstanding service. Help grow existing accounts by identifying customer needs and recommending additional products and services. Manage inventory and ensure accurate deliveries and pickups. Operate a company vehicle safely and professionally. Load and unload products and carts throughout the day. Communicate customer feedback and service needs to your team. What We're Looking For Strong customer service and communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Organized and capable of managing multiple priorities. Clean driving record. Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to pass pre-employment requirements (drug/alcohol test, fit-for-duty test, DOT physical) Comfortable performing physical work in a fast-paced environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and moving carts weighing up to and exceeding 250 lbs. Able to remain active throughout the workday, including standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling. Must be at least 21 years of age to meet DOT requirements.
