Job DetailsJob Location: Gasbarre - DuBois, PA 15801Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolJob Category: ManufacturingGeneral Summary: The Boring Mill Operator is responsible for operating a Boring Mill (Manual or CNC).  Must have a strong understanding of machining practices, precision measurements, and ability to read mechanical drawings.  Essential Job Functions: Set up and operate manual and/or CNC boring mills.  Machine large and heavy components to precise specifications.  Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and machining instructions.  Perform accurate measurements using precision measuring tools.  Inspect finished work to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.  Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.  Troubleshot machining and setup issues as needed.  Coordinate with programmers to improve efficiency. QualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.  Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED.  5+ years of CNC or Manual Boring Mill or related machining experience.  Experience in the Heavy equipment manufacturing industry preferred.  Physical Requirements: Lifting a maximum of 40 pounds regularly. This job requires extensive amounts of walking, standing, and sitting.
