Harrison County Hospital is seeking to hire a File Clerk for the Health Information Department.

This position is PRN (as needed), day shift.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Must be able to speak English fluently.
  • Must be able to speak and understand medical terminology.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have high school education.
  • Desire candidate with work experience in a medical records, hospital or physician office setting.
  • Desire accredited record technician certification.

AGE SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES:

Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and behaviors appropriate to the population(s) served, and based on specific criteria and/or age specific considerations, as follows:

Contact with various ages of customers within the Medical Record Department and throughout the hospital.
