Job Purpose:
The Production Lead plays a critical role in ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production operations at Pressed Juicery. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and supporting a positive work environment. The Production Lead ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, while also leading, training, and supporting production staff.

Essential Functions: Â
- Follow all GMP’s, Safety requirements as required by Pressed Juicery and regulatory agencies
- At shift start, go over production schedule, assign employees work and pass down to next shift
- Monitor breaks and lunches
- Verify all paperwork is being filled and its accuracy on a daily basis
- Train all incoming personnel and ensure that routine training is taking place
- Maintain a safe environment and support a safety culture
- Maintain a food safety environment and support a food safety culture
- Maintain the facility from a sanitation and housekeeping standpoint, including cleaning, sanitizing and storage of equipment and tools
- Perform all duties as assigned
Â
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Food & Beverage manufacturing.
- Attention to detail, basic math functions.
- Good communication skills to motivate and provide direction to employees.
- Ability to maintain confidential company information in the strictest of confidence
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the position requiring heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., carrying tools and supplies, kneeling, and standing on feet for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work for extended periods of time, with exposure to cold temperatures, wet conditions, and industrial equipment.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
