Quality & Safety Coordinator | Nox Metals | Detroit, MI

Nox Metals is a technology company in Detroit supplying metal. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.

You will:

  • Own our safety program. Training, PPE, hazard control, and OSHA recordkeeping

  • Investigate incidents and near misses, find the real root cause, and close the loop

  • Walk the floor daily and stop work when something is not right

  • Own material quality from receiving to shipping, including certification and traceability

  • Write the SOPs people actually use and keep them current

  • Prepare for and run customer and third-party audits



You are:

  • Safety-obsessed

  • Trained in OSHA general industry standards, OSHA 30 preferred

  • Familiar with quality management systems, ISO 9001 or AS9100

  • Organized and documents stuff, high attention to detial

  • Comfortable building the program instead of inheriting one



Nice to have:

  • Experience in manufacturing or warehousing

  • Internal auditor training, ISO 9001 or AS9100

  • AI proficiency



The role is full time, in person in Detroit. Shift Hours: Day shift (8AM to 4PM), with flexibility to cover second and weekend shifts as needed.
