As a Repair Specialist, you will perform the production duties below:
- Review each product to determine the required repairs
- Ensure you have the proper tools and materials required to repair the product to an insurance quality standard
- For each repair, you may be required to cut, trim, file, bend, or smooth parts to ensure proper standards are met
- Ensure quality control standards are met
- Adhering to assembly safety standards
- Work with team members to identify and develop improved methods of repair
- Comply with all safety standards and requirements to assure a safe and hazard-free warehouse environment with focus on injury prevention
Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent practical experience
- Hands on repair experience is a plus
- Hand on experience in these fields - Construction, Drywall, Painting, and Landscaping or a role where you had to pay close attention to quality and detail
- Strong focus on quality – deeply care about the product and your work
- High degree of professional credibility, including responsiveness, team focus, and interest and ability to perform work in a safe environment
Physical Requirements Â
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours.
- Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.Â
- Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
