Who are we and what do we do?
Corteva Agriscience intends to separate into two independent companies on or about October 1, 2026. It is Corteva’s current intention, that this position will align with the Seed Company, Vylor, at the time of the intended separation.Â
The Vylor innovation engine will be anchored in the agriculture industry’s most elite germplasm and transformative biotech. The company will leverage its next generation scientific expertise in disciplines like gene editing and molecular breeding to further strengthen its core business while exploring opportunities to expand to new row crops – and potentially beyond. Vylor will scale these innovations using its leading routes-to-market and by significantly expanding its licensing business.
We are searching for an innovative and energetic Credit Analyst to join our North America Credit Operations team. Partnering with the business to provide credit services that help improve competitive position. Ensures efficient and effective credit assessment, administration and collection processes and procedures. Conducts customer risk assessment and impact of credit terms to profitability and cash flow.
Primary Responsibilities - How will you help us Grow!
Responsible for North America credit operations activity including but not limited to:Â
- Manages risk assessment / collection / order hold release for the assigned customer portfolio.
- Customer Risk Analysis. Establish proper customer credit limits based on specific customer risk profile and deploy appropriate risk mitigation to meet customer/business needs.
- Review and resolving credit blocks.
- Dispute Facilitation.
- Payment allocation support for cash application team.
- Collections.
- Key contact for business/customers interactions for the portfolio assigned.
- Understanding of accounts assigned and take necessary actions to control the risk and coordinate actions needed.
- Execution of strategy and tactics to drive improvement in productivity and return on receivables.
- Manages all aspects of customer portfolio assigned and work collaboratively with the business to ensure terms strategy, disciplined processes, and controls.
- Connect to business in addressing issues and opportunities related to credit and providing specific guidelines based on outlined procedures.
- Improve business credit competency through sharing and learning from NA and global team in leveraging credit and risk management knowledge and growth support/analytical tools.
Experience and Education – What you'll bring to the table!
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Economic, Business Administration or related field.
- Credit Background preferable.
- 3-5 years of working experience. In the Ag. sector would be desirable.
- Strong analytical and communication (oral and written) skills - the ability to distill data into useful information.
- Strong problem-solving skills - the ability to initiate creative solutions to difficult business issues.
- Solid interpersonal skills -- the ability to work well as a team member.
- An ability to manage one's personal time as well as prioritize.
- Strong core values -- personal integrity and ethics.
- Solid skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
