Intraform LLC | Western New York | Full-Time
Intraform is seeking a Development & Energy Financial Analyst to evaluate the financial performance of high-performance commercial real estate developments that integrate renewable-energy and building technologies.
This role combines commercial real estate, project finance, and renewable-energy economics. The ideal candidate is a strong financial modeler who can integrate development costs, financing, operating cash flow, solar PV, battery storage, geothermal, utility savings, incentives, and clean-energy tax credits into comprehensive project financial models.
Key Accountabilities
- Development Financial Modeling – Build and maintain project pro formas and cash-flow models incorporating development costs, financing, lease revenue, operating expenses, debt service, and investment returns.
- Renewable Energy & Building Economics – Integrate solar, battery storage, geothermal, electrification, utility costs, energy production, savings, O&M, and replacement assumptions into project economics.
- Incentive & Tax Credit Modeling – Evaluate and model federal, state, utility, and local incentives, including clean-energy tax credits.
- Investment & Scenario Analysis – Analyze projects using IRR, NPV, cash-on-cash return, DSCR, payback, sensitivity analysis, and alternative scenarios.
- Development Decision Support – Translate financial and technical information into clear recommendations for project feasibility, financing, capital allocation, and investment decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Engineering, Energy, Business, or related field.
- Strong Excel and financial-modeling skills.
- Experience with project finance, renewable energy, commercial real estate development, infrastructure, or energy economics.
- Understanding of cash-flow modeling, NPV, IRR, debt service, and sensitivity analysis.
- Renewable-energy and/or commercial real-estate financial modeling experience strongly preferred.
This is not an accounting or solar-design position. We are looking for an analytical thinker who can understand both the financial and technical sides of a development and help determine how energy infrastructure creates long-term asset value.
