Responsible for providing direct nursing care under the direction of a physician, assists medical providers, and maintains a clean and safe environment in accordance with policies and procedures.

Assists in assessments process by collecting data, making observations and reporting/documenting in the medical recordÂ

Demonstrates the knowledge and ability to care for age specific needs of the population servedÂ

Makes observation related to patient progress in achieving established goalsÂ

Instructs patient/significant other(s) and/or reinforces teaching according to patient plan of care an established by multi-disciplinary teamÂ

Documentation is consistently complete, accurate and legible including medications administered, exceptions and patients’ responseÂ

Qualifications
Education and ExperienceÂ

Graduate of an accredited Nursing ProgramÂ

Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of FloridaÂ

EMR/EHR experience preferred, NextGen or Athena experience preferredÂ

Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider requiredÂ
