Administrative Assistant - Hospice & Palliative Care

Unity is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Hospice & Palliative Care team. This position provides administrative support to department leadership and clinical teams, helping coordinate daily operations, staff education and training, meetings, events, scheduling, and departmental tracking.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, managing multiple priorities, coordinating details, and supporting a team in meaningful work.
Schedule: Full-time Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
What You’ll Do
Â
Education & Training
- Coordinate staff trainings, webinars, conferences, and educational programs.
- Support nursing fellowship, residency, preceptor education, and clinical student placement activities.
- Maintain training records, CEUs, certifications, and related tracking.
Events & Programs
- Coordinate logistics for nursing and psychosocial skills fairs, retreats, appreciation events, and other department programs.
- Assist with scheduling, room reservations, materials, food, supplies, registrations, and other event needs.
Meetings & Communication
- Manage calendars and scheduling for department leadership using Outlook and Teams.
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, meeting notes, and follow-up materials.
- Assist with department newsletters, communications, and other informational materials.
Data & Administrative Support
- Maintain spreadsheets, reports, employee information, and other departmental tracking.
- Assist with purchasing, supplies, travel arrangements, and other administrative needs.
- Provide front desk/greeter coverage and general support as needed.

Requirements
What You’ll Bring
Required:
- 2+ years of administrative, project coordination, or office management experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Ability to learn and work with various technology systems.
Preferred:
- Healthcare, hospice, or nonprofit experience.
- Experience with Epic, Relias/LMS, or scheduling software.
