Job DetailsJob Location: Controlled Products - Dalton, GA 30721Salary Range: $17.00 HourlyJob Summary: The Sew on Operator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by ensuring that all sewing operations are executed with precision and quality. This position is responsible for operating sewing machines to assemble and finish products according to specifications and quality standards. The Sew on Operator will work closely with team members to meet production goals while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Attention to detail is essential, as the operator will inspect finished products for defects and make necessary adjustments. Ultimately, the success of this role contributes significantly to the overall quality and efficiency of the manufacturing process.   Duties/Responsibilities: Operate sewing machines to sew fabric and other materials according to production specifications. Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed. Maintain sewing equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor issues. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and ensure a smooth workflow. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. To sew rolls onto the coater. To watch the J-Box. To maintain daily upkeep of sewing machine. Any idle time should be used to compact plastic and or bail cardboard. Clean up and other duties assigned.   Responsible for additional duties and accountabilities that will be assigned as needed.   QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities: Excellent customer service and communication skills Organizational skills and attention to detail Problem solving skills and ability to make quick decisions Time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines     Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Basic understanding of sewing machine operation and maintenance. Experience with industrial sewing machines. Knowledge of fabric types and their properties.     Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Ability to lift 15 pounds
