The Special Events Rep DOT will handle all special event activities including sales, delivery, rotation, line cleaning, setup and tear down of events. • Build healthy business relationships and establish good communication with our customers • Maintain and clean customers’ draught lines serving Ben E. Keith beers • Ensure all delivery and line cleaning standards are met • Troubleshoot various draught issues • Project a friendly, professional image at all times • Prioritize multiple, competing priorities • Attend meetings as required • Operate all company equipment safely and in a manner consistent with company policy • Ensure company equipment is in safe, working condition; reports any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor • Maintain and keep clean assigned company vehicle at all times • Perform other duties as assignedÂ
Job Qualifications:
• Be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays • Draught experience preferred • Ability to work in a fast paced environment • Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments • Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment • Must be highly motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detail • Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations • Must be able to read and write English • Basic computer skills preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) preferred • Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear • Must be 21 yrs. or older to apply • Ability to operate/drive single axle truck with 27 ft. trailer • Position requires a Texas Class A CDL driver’s license with a clean MVR • Ability to work in various weather conditions • High school graduate or GED required • All applicants hired by Ben E. Keith Beverages are required by the State of Texas to obtain two TABC licenses
Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding.
