Job DetailsJob Location: CS Dallas - Dallas, TX 75235Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeSalary Range: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 Salary/yearTravel Percentage: Negligible less than 10%Project Accountant Full-Time | Commercial Landscaping As a Construction Project Accountant, you will be a key contributor to our dynamic construction accounting team, involved in a range of administrative and accounting responsibilities. Your exceptional communication and organizational skills will be pivotal as you provide support for landscape construction projects, helping maintain Clean Scape’s reputation for excellence in building world class spaces that will leave legacies on our cities for decades to come. ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES Job Management and Accounting: Provide essential support for job management and accounting tasks, including but not limited to: Monthly Billing and Collections: Timely preparation of monthly billing and collection activities. AIA Management: Manage and process AIA (American Institute of Architects) documentation. Change Order Entry: Accurately input change orders to ensure proper tracking and billing. Subcontracts Setup and Maintenance: Assist in setting up and maintaining subcontractor agreements. Close Out Documents: Contribute to the preparation and organization of project close-out documents. Insurance Certificates: Collect and maintain insurance certificates in compliance with project requirements. Lien Notifications: Assist in managing lien notifications for projects as needed. Weekly Job Cost Reports: Create and manage weekly job cost reports using Teams or other relevant tools. Team Meetings: Attend and actively participate in weekly departmental team meetings. Month-End Processes: Support month-end processes, including job cost reviews, journal entries, and cost allocations specific to the division. Purchase Orders and Invoices: Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain organization and ensure the timely submission of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices related to project costs. Other Duties: Take on other assigned duties as necessary to support the team's success. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Three to five years of construction accounting or project accounting experience. Experience with job costing, monthly billing, collections, change orders, purchase orders, invoices, and project closeout processes. Familiarity with AIA billing, subcontractor documentation, insurance certificates, lien notifications, and cost allocations. Experience supporting month-end close activities, including journal entries and job cost reviews. NetSuite experience is a significant plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and other accounting or project-management systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with Project Managers, accounting staff, subcontractors, and other internal teams. Why Join Clean Scapes?
